Rotary Golf Invitational
enjoy a round of golf in the Appalachian MOuntains
Each year, the Rotary Club of Madison County offers a chance to play one of the highest golf courses east of the Mississippi River at nearly 5,000 feet. Our benefit golf tournament is held at Wolf Laurel Country Club in the Mars Hill area. The tournament is held each May, watch for notification of the dates. Not only will you be treated to breath-taking views (especially at holes 6 and 10), but your entry fee will help support programs that benefit the youth and the Madison County community as a whole.
There are plenty of opportunities for awards and a hole-in-one contest which has a prize of $25,000 cash, a trip to Ireland, or a Pinehurst golf vacation. Gather up your golfing buddies for an enjoyable day on a beautiful course for just $80 per person.
Check in at 9am with breakfast biscuits. The format is Captain’s Choice with the shotgun start is at 10am and you will be treated to a Chick-fil-A lunch at the turn. The limit is 72 golfers or 18 foursomes so contact the event chair Gary Webb at (828) 206-1983 or email email@example.com. For more information, you can contact the Wolf Laurel Country Club Pro Shop at (828) 680 – 9771.
