Join us for the 10th annual Fiddlin’ 5k! Enjoy the sweet tunes of local musicians as you run or walk on our beautiful 5k route in Mars Hill, North Carolina. Just north of Asheville, the Fiddlin’ 5k is a local favorite and it’s easy to understand why. In addition to the lively music, the course starts and finishes on the beautiful Otis Duck Greenway where participants will be treated to spectacular mountain and rural views.

All Fiddlin’ 5k funds raised are granted out to Madison County youth-based art programs. One program that the raised funds support is the amazing Junior Appalachian Musician Program (JAM). JAM is a fantastic program where youth can learn, play and appreciate Appalachian music together and with other youth and local experts. JAM has been a life-saver for many youth who have needed a creative outlet during these uncertain times. On top of that, Fiddlin’ 5k is proud to have raised funds to help obtain more supplies for the Madison County Middle School music program as well as help provide art supplies for Brush Creek Elementary School.

If you want to help support Madison County youth-based art programs, signing up for the Fiddlin’ 5k or being a donor is the perfect way to help out. We hope to see you on SUNDAY, May 7, 2023!

Further Directions: PARKING: 248 Bailey Street, Mars Hill, NC 28754 will get you to the best available parking for the event. Parking volunteers will be directing participants to the Fox Hall Parking lot near the Fiddlin’ 5k starting line.
