Call for Artists

If you have driven past the University Campus on Higway 213 or driven down College Street, you know that the campus – specifically the upper quad – is under construction and from what we have been told, will continue to be for quite a while.

But, we have a new home for this year and we think that it will work out well. The Bascom Lamar Lunsford Festival and the Madison Heritage Arts Festival will be located on the soccer fields just below Mars Hill Elementary School. We will still have shuttles to drop off festival goers, and there is plenty of parking just above the festival for you, our vendors, to park.

Good news . . it is flat! We will market the festival via festival.net , the Town of Mars Hill and in local newspapers to let everyone know where and when it will take place.
Our Madison Heritage Arts Festival in 2023 had 55 vendors participate in our traditional First Saturday in October event. The crowds were great and many vendors reported record sales for the day.

 Applying for the festival for 2024, the same process will apply as in previous years
except that we have made it even easier to pay for your booth. You won’t have to
navigate out to PayPal, we’ll send you an invoice after you register.
